  • Finether 2200W Electric Steam Iron Station review

Don’t be surprised when the delivery guy turn up with a massive box - Finether Steam Iron System just will the centre of attraction irrespective of wherever you place. Shiny bright red colour and massive water tank / Steam station is beautiful to look at but takes up lot of space on the table.

The water tank / steam generator is directly connected to power source and the Iron connects to the tank for both power and steam. So no need to worry about water spilling over in any position. The steam is really powerful enough to remove tough creases. The water tank has a capacity of 500ml and will last several rounds of ironing.

The holding plate is one of the best I’ve seen so far. This stays on top of the tank to allow the Iron to rest. The base of Iron or Soleplate is made of very smooth ABS material that allows the Iron to glide over the fabric with ease. The heat can be adjusted for various type of clothes including Cotton, Linen, Wool, Silk and Nylon.

The negatives - Finether logo printed on the Tank / Steam generator is not blending in with the colour of Iron. Also you have to release the steam at least once before you place it on the cloth / garment. During the first release of steam, a bit of water also sprays along with the the steam, so the cloth may get wet if you are not careful. I assume this is the standard way with every other steam generators - the same behaviour with one of my steam cleaners.

The light indicator shows you when the Iron is ready to use. The cable has enough length to cover large table and made of very high quality material. The pack includes additional seal rings, measuring cup and an instruction manual. The light indicator will also tells you when you need a refill in water tank.

Overall a very decent Iron - functional, built to last and great design / colour. You definitely need some space to keep this Iron. Please do check out the pictures for a closer look
